Free Credit Score

Every year Wells Fargo runs a campaign targeting existing customers encouraging them to get into a store and receive their free credit score and complimentary credit report. In 2014 we launched this campaign to great success. It generated almost a 100 percent renewal on the limited offer codes.

The idea was simple: By giving away valuable tips to help people understand and manage their credit, Wells Fargo becomes a trusted source on a somewhat nebulous and scary topic. This simple idea cut through all the hubbub of open credit season where so-called free credit score offers inundate the public.
