Topic Page One: Why Is Credit Important?

The path
to good credit

For many young people, credit is a topic shrouded in a fog of anxiety and misunderstanding. When Wells Fargo approached McCann to help create a digital experience educating millennials on credit, we needed to find a way to engage our target that would cut through the dry, confusing, and somewhat scary topic.

“The Path to Good Credit” became our creative handle and the analogy that inspired the art direction, animation, and interactivity of the experience. Utilizing SVG animation, we lead the user through the experience along the path to good credit. We produced four videos to help the target learn about credit. At the end of each section, the user takes a quiz and is further incentivized to learn all about credit.

The Path to Good Credit was awarded a 2015 Bronze Telly Award in the B2C category and a 2015 Internet Advertising Competition Award (IAC) for Best Bank Website.

We ended up creating two separate websites that hosted seven videos we produced. The first website targets millennials and you can experience the live site here. The second website (pictured here) targets people who are new to the U.S. or need to learn how to rebuild their credit. You can experience this website here.
